Many fans were hoping that Ubisoft would showcase a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage at the Game Awards 2022, but that didn’t happen. Ubisoft Bordeaux saw fit to show a new screenshot of the game. On its Twitter, the studio posted not a picture, but a short video comparison of two screenshots: one from Mirage, the second from Assassin’s Creed 1.
The new Assassin’s Creed Mirage screenshot is an almost 1:1 recreation of the original AC 1 screenshot. The background is changed to match the Baghdad setting of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Basim takes Altair’s place, and the enemies are swapped to match the setting.
A release date for AC Mirage has never been given, only a 2023 window.
