Even if it does not necessarily shine as much as the PS Plus, Game Pass and other EA Play, we must not forget the existence ofUbisoft Plus, the subscription game service dedicated to the Ubisoft catalogue. Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs, all of the publisher’s titles, or almost, are contained in a subscription at the single price of €14.99 per month. However, according to a recent leak, this may change in the more or less near future.
After bursting onto consoles this year via the various manufacturers’ subscriptions, Ubisoft Plus might get a makeover, in particular by being more flexible in its proposals and its price list. Indeed, the biggest flaw of the service to date is the impossibility of personalizing its experience: if you are interested in only a few titles, you will have to pay the same amount as someone who will explore the catalog in more depth.
Following a survey conducted by GOG, many players must have raised their eyebrows when they noticed that in question 21, levels still unknown to the Ubisoft Plus service were mentioned. We can thus discover the names of Ubisoft Plus Gold, Ultimate and Deluxe. Three levels on which the publisher has never communicated, three new ways to access the service. GOG would they have spilled the beans, unwittingly?
The questions that remain unanswered, however, are: if the information turns out to be true, what will be the content and benefits of each level? At what price will the different versions of the service be offered? And last, and not least, will Ubisoft take the opportunity to finally make its service independent on all platforms, like EA Play which is a separate subscription?
So many questions that will have to wait for information officially from Ubisoft, which, we hope, should not be long in speaking up to give news of some of its titles that we have been waiting for, some for far too long ( cuckoo Beyond Good & Evil 2).
