Ubisoft made Assassin’s Creed Valhalla free on Steam, but online and sales didn’t help much

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla at last released on Steam and immediately received a big discount, but Ubisoft still managed to stumble. On Steam, the game does not have achievements, which greatly angered Valve service users.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released on Steam on December 6th and soon Ubisoft made the game free-to-play. From December 15 to December 19, it was possible to try it for free.

Initially, the online Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on Steam did not increase much after the start of the promotion, but gradually it reached a record high in 15679 players. Lately it has stayed at the level of 8-10 thousand.

Ubisoft was able to achieve some success: the game appeared in the list of 100 most profitable in the US, Germany, Turkey and the UK. However, this is so did not allow Assassin’s Creed Valhalla break into the top ten best-selling Steam games (in terms of revenue).
