Uber One is Uber’s new subscription program, which offers several advantages to platform users through a monthly subscription. It replaces Uber Pass, which will soon be discontinued in Brazil.
The program was already available in other countries, such as the United States, Mexico, Germany and Spain, finally landing on the Brazilian market. The novelty comes as a way to retain Uber customers and offer more convenience and savings for those who frequently use the company’s services.
Furthermore, the program can be a way to differentiate itself from competitors, such as Mercado Livre, which recently launched Meli+, a subscription program that also offers free shipping and access to streaming platforms.
To subscribe to Uber One, you need to access the Uber app, tap the “Account” button in the bottom right corner, tap the “Uber One” option and follow the instructions on the screen. The service costs R$19.90 per month or R$198 per year, and includes benefits such as:
Free shipping on purchases over R$100 on Uber Eats; 10% cashback on UberX, Uber Comfort and Uber Black trips; Access to the best rated drivers; Exclusive offers from Uber partners; R$15 in credits in case of late Uber Eats delivery (limited to 8 times per month).
