The Emirates Red Crescent Authority announced the completion of its preparations to send a new shipment of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, represented by winter clothing, as part of the UAE’s efforts to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip through the humanitarian “Galant Knight 3” operation.

The authority explained that the new shipment is being specially prepared in a number of factories in the Arab Republic of Egypt, before being delivered to the Egyptian city of Al-Arish, to begin the procedures for bringing it into the sector.

The delegation of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority visited a number of specialized clothing factories in Egypt, to prepare 400,000 winter jackets resistant to cold weather.

The Authority continues to monitor and prepare the vehicles transporting the aid shipment, and to purchase blankets, heaters, and winter gloves, to help Palestinian children and families affected by the conditions in the Gaza Strip, and to work to alleviate the suffering of the affected groups, especially children, who constitute nearly half of the population of the Strip, to face the severe cold during winter season.
