Dubai: Widespread damage was reported in the UAE due to heavy rain and lightning that started from Monday night. Heavy rains continue due to low pressure. Khaleej Times reported that the UAE National Center of Meteorology (NCM) said that rain would continue on Wednesday. Due to heavy rains, electricity and drinking water supply was interrupted in many places.
According to the latest information, Red Line Metro services in the UAE have been suspended. Metro traffic was disrupted between UAE Exchange and Dubai Internet City Station. The authorities stated that the reason for this was unstable weather and bus services were introduced at the affected stations.

The Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority has informed residents that city and intercity bus services will be temporarily suspended. Due to heavy rains, lakes in Jumeirah Islands have overflowed and water is accumulating on the roads.
