UAE, Saudi Arabia condemn Trump assassination attempt

Saudi Arabia – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates condemned the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump while he was giving a speech at an election rally for his supporters in Pennsylvania yesterday, Saturday.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement: “Saudi Arabia expresses its condemnation and denunciation of the attempted attack on the life of former US President Donald Trump, and its full solidarity with the United States of America, the former president and his family, stressing its rejection of all forms of violence.”

Saudi Arabia expressed its “condolences to the family of the deceased, to the friendly American people, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.”

The United Arab Emirates also strongly condemned the shooting incident that targeted former US President Donald Trump yesterday, which resulted in his injury and the death and injury of others, expressing its deep regret for this unfortunate incident.

The statement added, “The UAE expressed its solidarity with presidential candidate Donald Trump and his family, and the government and people of the United States in this incident, and expressed its wishes for his speedy recovery.”

The ministry affirmed in the statement “the UAE’s strong condemnation of these extremist and criminal acts, and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence.”

The ministry expressed its “sincere condolences and sympathy to the American government and the friendly American people and to the families and relatives of the victim of this heinous crime, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.”
