Abu Dhabi – The President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was invited to the country by the President of Iran Ibrahim Raisi. Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri met UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar and handed over the invitation. The UAE, which was estranged from Iran following the Houthi attack in Yemen, restored diplomatic relations a few months ago. Embassies were reopened in both countries.
