Abu Dhabi, February 9 (WAM): His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, discussed during a telephone call with His Excellency Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister of foreign affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, UAE – Pakistan relations and ways to enhance and develop the prospects of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields.
The two sides reviewed developments in the region and efforts to consolidate the pillars of security and stability in the region and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and developments on the regional and international arenas.
During the phone call, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the depth of bilateral relations between the UAE and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and keenness to strengthen them and develop joint cooperation in all fields in order to achieve the common interests of the two countries and benefit their peoples.
