Dubai: Registration has started in the UAE for health workers interested in treating injured Palestinians in Gaza. The health department announced on Friday that online registration has started. Officials have also shared the registration link on social media.
The UAE is establishing a field hospital in Gaza as part of the Gallant Night-3 operation announced by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Health workers are invited as part of this. Details including name, phone number and Emirates ID must be provided at the time of registration. It should also be specified whether you want to serve in Gaza or Egypt or both.

The 150-bed hospital will be established on the order of the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The hospital will have intensive care, anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics and gynecology departments. Clinics for internal medicine, dentistry, psychiatry and family medicine will also operate. The hospital will also have city imaging, laboratory, pharmacy and other facilities. The materials needed to set up the hospital were brought to Gaza on five planes.
At the same time, UAE strongly condemned the statement of Israel’s Minister of Heritage Protection to drop a nuclear bomb on Gaza. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the statement was offensive, shameful and unacceptable. Calling for genocide is a worrying statement and the UAE has called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
