UAE enters first group of 2026 World Cup qualifiers

The draw for the third spherical of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup finals was held on the Mandarin Oriental Resort in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. The UAE nationwide group was positioned in Group A, together with Qatar, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and North Korea.
The remaining draw teams, Group 2, embody South Korea, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Palestine and Kuwait, and Group 3 contains Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, China and Indonesia.
The “Street to 2026 World Cup” Asian qualifiers are scheduled to be held from September 2024 to June 2025.
18 groups are divided into 3 teams of 6 groups every, the highest two groups in every group will instantly qualify for the 2026 World Cup, 6 of the 8 locations might be reserved for the AFC, and the remaining 2 locations will instantly qualify for the 2026 World Cup. Compete by the Asian Qualifiers Please notice that there’s a probability to acquire further locations by the World Supplementary Match.
