A video of a delivery boy removing items blown onto the road by the wind went viral. Waqas said that he started removing them after realizing that people, including himself, were at risk of getting into harm’s way, and he believed that it was his responsibility to remove the roadblock.
The video that someone captured from the top of the building went viral. Waqas realizes that he is viral only after 48 hours.
Under Secretary Khalil Al Khoori handed over the awards to Waqas after inviting him to the Ministry headquarters. Waqas said that this is a great recognition for him.
