Yesterday, our national team concluded its participation in the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Championship 2023, where the champions and champions were able to highlight their brilliance and show their prowess, especially with their winning a large number of medals, which were overshadowed by the glitter of gold.
Our champions won 20 medals, including 9 gold, 7 silver, and 4 bronze, which confirms the superiority of UAE athletes and their constant striving towards achieving victory and occupying the top positions.
The second day of the event witnessed the fights of the Junior A category (16-17 years), where the champion, Zamzam Al Hammadi, succeeded in winning the gold in the Junior A category, weighing 52 kg, following a clear superiority over her Lebanese competitor, Angelina Al Nuaimi, to succeed in subduing her with an amazing move, and the match was decided in her favor. .
The team also won 3 silver medals, achieved by Jassim Abdullah Al Hosani, in the junior A category, weight 77 kg; Saeed Al Nuaimi, in the junior A category, weighing 56 kg; Wadah Abu Sheikha in the Junior A category, 93 kg, and two bronze medals achieved by Ahmed Al Jabri in the Junior A category, 70 kg. And Al-Aqili Al-Zaabi in the Junior A category, weighing 65.8 kg.
