The United Arab Emirates has announced the start of direct flights to Israel.
According to the Arab News Agency, direct flights between the United Arab Emirates and Israel will begin on November 26, which was announced by Dubai‘s airline Fly Dubai.
In a statement issued by flydubai, it has been said that the company will operate 14 flights per week directly from Dubai to Tel Aviv for which bookings can be made in business and economy classes available on the company’s website.
The company says that there will be two daily flights from Dubai to Tel Aviv and from Tel Aviv to Dubai, with a one-way journey of approximately three hours.
According to Arab media, Fly Dubai is currently the only company that has announced direct commercial flights from Dubai to Israel.
It should be noted that after the restoration of relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, an air transportation agreement was reached between the two countries last month, under which 28 direct flights will be operated from the United Arab Emirates to Tel Aviv.
After the restoration of relations between the two countries, on October 19 last month, the first passenger flight from the UAE landed in Israel near Tel Aviv with only crew members on board.
Last month, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that citizens of the United Arab Emirates and Israel will be allowed visa-free travel to both countries.
