UAE and Indonesia Sign Agreement for Emirates-Indonesia Cardiac Hospital Construction in Surakarta

ABU DHABI, 29 October / WAM / The UAE, represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, signed a cooperation agreement with the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, represented by the Ministry of Health, related to the construction of the “Emirates-Indonesia Cardiac Hospital” in the Solo Techno Park in the city of Surakarta (Central Java).

The agreement was signed on behalf of the UAE by His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali Mohammed Al Sayegh, Minister of State, and on behalf of the Indonesian government by His Excellency Dr. Budi Junadi Sadikin, Minister of Health.

The agreement aims to enhance the advancement of the health sector in the Republic of Indonesia through the construction of the Emirates-Indonesia Cardiac Hospital with a capacity of 100 beds, funded by the UAE government.

On this occasion, His Excellency Al Sayegh stressed that the signing of the agreement comes within the framework of the vision of the wise leadership to consolidate bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Indonesia and strengthen them through joint work in various fields to support the achievement of sustainable development goals, the forefront of which is the health sector and the provision of health care to the residents of the region. .

For his part, His Excellency Sadiqin said that the support provided by the UAE government to help build the Emirates-Indonesia Cardiac Hospital in Solo is appreciated and grateful.. This cooperation can accelerate the implementation of services related to health care, especially the treatment of heart diseases in all our cities. “I would therefore like to thank the government and people of the United Arab Emirates for their great contributions to Indonesia on behalf of the Indonesian government and the Indonesian people.”

For his part, His Excellency Hussein Bagis, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the country, said: “The signing of the cooperation agreement to facilitate the establishment of the Emirates-Indonesia Cardiac Hospital is happy news for us and of course for the Surakarta city government.”

He added: “We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to the UAE government for its assistance in facilitating the establishment of the Emirates-Indonesia Cardiac Hospital, which will bring many benefits to the Indonesian people, especially the people of Surakarta and its surrounding areas, as it will facilitate access to medical services.”
