Dubai: The UAE has advised once morest travel to Equatorial Guinea and Tanzania due to reports of Marburg virus. The warning comes amid reports of deaths due to the virus in these countries.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there is an 88 percent chance of death if infected with the Marburg virus.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises UAE nationals to postpone travel due to the outbreak of the deadly Marburg virus. The ministry also asks UAE nationals living in these countries to exercise extreme caution. The UAE also requires countries to follow the health guidelines issued in this regard.
