U19 WC 2022: Now Under 19 cricket full days; Two matches today, India at the ground tomorrow

Guyana: The ICC Under 19 World Cup 2022 begins today in the West Indies. On the first day, West Indies will face Australia (West Indies U19 vs Australia U19) and Sri Lanka will face Scotland (Sri Lanka U19 vs Scotland U19). The match will be played at 7.30 pm Indian time.

India are in Group B along with South Africa, Ireland and Uganda. India’s first opponents are South Africa tomorrow. The final of the 16-team tournament will take place on February 5. The current winners are Bangladesh. The matches will be played in 50 over format.

India with hope

The Indian team is led by Yash Dul. The selectors announced the 17-member squad. India have won the Under-19 World Cup four times. India lifted the trophy in 2000, 2008, 2012 and 2018. India became runners-up in 2016 and 2020. The team lost to Bangladesh last time. India flew to the West Indies with the aim of lifting the trophy this time.
