[Washington, 4th Archyde.com]–The US Supreme Court ruled to maintain the death sentence of Johar Zarnaev (28, 19 at the time) in the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 on the 4th, and abandoned the death sentence. It overturned the judgment of the lower court.

The decision was 6 to 3, and all conservative judges agreed. Judge Thomas emphasized in the sentence that “the defendant committed a heinous crime,” and said that “a fair trial was held in front of a fair jury.”

In the 2013 incident, an explosion occurred near the goal line of the marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 260.
