But Blinken also bluntly said, “We cannot return to the status quo of Hamas controlling Gaza, nor can we allow Israel to manage or control Gaza. This is Israel’s own claim.”
“There are various possible permutations of these puzzles, and we’re paying close attention right now, as are other countries,” he said.
