U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blincoln announced in a statement on the 26th (local time) that “this assistance will provide additional assistance in defending against the armored, airborne and other military risks facing Ukraine.” did. These include anti-aircraft systems, small arms, firearms of various calibers, and body armor.
The United States donated $60 million to Ukraine just after Russia began consolidating its troops on the Ukrainian border last year, followed by another $200 million in December last year.
Additional arms support from other North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries is also continuing. Britain, which provided 2,000 anti-tank missiles, agreed to supply Ukraine with more weapons.
