During the day this Thursday, a record captured by security cameras went viral where a youth player from the University of Chile appears suffering from a gate slam outside the Blue Sports Center.
In the registry, the cadet appears in his car waiting to enter the Blue Sports Center (CDA) located in the commune of La Cisterna, when another vehicle parks while a group of young people get out with a hammer, to steal the car.
“We inform that today, while he was entering the CDA to participate in his daily training, one of our Formative Soccer players suffered the theft of his vehicle,” the club said in a statement, while the young soccer player chose to deliver his vehicle to criminals.
“Thanks to the CDA security system, the event was duly recorded and the information was quickly sent to the corresponding police. The player, who did not resist, is in good health, “they assured.
“While the investigation is ongoing, as a Club we have been concerned to support our footballer in various areas. In addition, we have reinforced security measures and coordination with the authority to protect the safety of our athletes and collaborators,” they added.
Lieutenant Monserrat Echeverría Jashes, administrative deputy commissioner of the 10th La Cisterna Police Station, assured that after an investigation they managed to find the whereabouts of the criminals who assaulted the athlete.
“At 12:30 p.m., thanks to the work carried out by Carabineros, they managed to arrest two subjects, who were minors, moving in the same vehicle, so these individuals were placed at the disposal of the public ministry, passing to the control of detention,” Echeverría said.
“At this time the police investigation section is conducting the investigation to find the whereabouts of the other two subjects,” added the deputy commissioner on the case.
