The Standard collected reactions from colleagues of Arnon Grunberg at Thereafter Grunberg resigned after 25 years because of Herman Busselmans’ column about Jews.
Delphine Lecompte says in The Standard:
I also have a crazy style, I like the style of Herman Brusselmans. But by tarring all Jewish people with the same brush and using such violent language, he has crossed a line.
Herr Seele understands Grunberg’s choice and thinks it’s stupid that Humo is letting him go:
Grunberg has international class, Brusselmans is more of a local phenomenon. […] A large popular magazine like Humo should not be allowed to sink into populism.
