British boxer Tyson Fury said he was ready to fight it out once morest Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight boxing world title, next May 18 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The duel between Fury, who is the WBC world heavyweight champion, and the Ukrainian boxer was originally scheduled for February 17, but had to be postponed because Fury suffered an injury above his right eye.
However, Fury, who has a record of 34 wins in 35 fights with 24 knockouts, stated that the injury above his eye had healed.
“Healing is good. I’m not worried,” said Fury as reported by AFP, Wednesday (6/3).

“Let the fight continue because this is the undisputed heavyweight championship fight. I will start training camp at the end of March, I will be ready to fight,” he said

Fury really wants to beat Usyk, who holds the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles.
Apart from that, Fury will also have a duel once morest fellow British boxer Anthony Joshua and one fight once morest Francis Ngannou this year.
