Vietnam’s VNExpress website reported that the eye of Typhoon Noru was off the coast of Da Nang. and Quang Ngai province to the east regarding 180 km at 8:00 p.m. local time. with maximum wind speeds of 166 km/h and many areas from Da Nang to Quang Ngai province are expected to be the hardest hit by this storm. Heavy rain and strong winds have begun this followingnoon and waves of 4-5 meters high are expected along the coast from Da Nang to Quang Ngai province.
