On the 4th, when the weather in the West Sea deteriorated due to the influence of Typhoon No. 11 ‘Hinnamno’, 4 of the 12 routes between Incheon and the island were controlled.
According to the Incheon Port Operations Management Center, at 6:30 a.m. on the same day, high waves of 1 to 3 meters were rising in the sea, and strong winds of 8 to 13 meters per second were blowing.
Accordingly, the operation of four passenger ships on four routes, including Incheon-Baengnyeong Island, Baengnyeong Island-Incheon, and Incheon-Yeonpyeong Island, was controlled.
12 passenger ships on the remaining 7 routes, including Ganghwa Hari-Seogeomwa Suseon-Jun, will operate normally.
However, six passenger ships on two routes, Incheon-Deokjeokdo and Incheon-Ijakdo, operate only in the morning and do not operate in the followingnoon.
One passenger ship on the Incheon-Jeju Island route is closed.
An official from the Incheon Port Flight Management Center said, “There are passenger ships that are not operating this followingnoon as the weather in the West Sea is expected to get worse due to the influence of Typhoon Hinnamno.
