Residents who had taken refuge on rooftops due to flood damage were transported to a safe place by IBS, and the KAAV was active in places where it was difficult for firefighters to enter due to road flooding.

In the process, firefighters who had difficulty entering the origin of the POSCO fire due to flood damage were transported by KAAV.

In a rescue video released by the Marines on social media, you can see crews carrying civilians into KAAVs on a road with water up to their waist.

This is the first time that a scene of a KAAV being mobilized at a flood site has been released.

A KAAV was mobilized during floods in the Ilsan and Gimpo areas 20 years ago, but this was not disclosed and has been passed down through word of mouth among marines.
