If you are a subscriber to the Nintendo Switch Online service, you can now enjoy two Zelda games, released in 2001.

The games in question The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages et The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, are clearly not as popular as other installments in the franchise. But in their defense, they left following a year Majora’s Mask and a year before Ocarina of Time. Suffice to say that it was almost impossible to seduce the players, when we find ourselves stuck between two cult titles in the series The Legend of Zelda.

Never mind, this arrival on Nintendo Switch Online is a great opportunity to (re)discover these titles released at the time on Game Boy Color, and developed not in-house, but by Capcom.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages et The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages also mark the arrival of Hidemaro Fujibayashi, who directed these two games before taking the helm, years later, of two “little episodes” you may have heard of: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom (Yes, just that !).

Finally, remember that the two games each offer a unique but complementary adventure. As Nintendo explains, “en completing one of the games, you earn a password that allows you to access the second. With this password, your character will keep the name you gave him at the start of the first adventure. It also starts with more items than the first quest, and you get cool little appearances from some of the characters you met in the first adventure. At the end of the second adventure, you will have to face an additional boss that you would not have encountered if you had not already completed the first.
