MONTREAL — Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced on Saturday that the team has agreed to terms on a two-year, one-way contract with forward Rem Pitlick.
In 46 games in a tricolor uniform last season, Pitlick tallied 26 points (9 goals, 17 assists) in addition to serving 12 penalty minutes.
In three seasons in the NHL, the athlete from Ottawa, Ontario, totaled 39 points, including 15 goals in 77 regular season games with the Nashville Predators, the Minnesota Wild and the Canadiens. During this period, he presented an average point per game of 0.51.
Pitlick was selected in the third round (76th overall) by the Predators in the 2016 NHL Draft.
