The strange sight of two vans placed on the top floor of a building in Dongguang 2nd Street, North District, Taichung City has aroused heated discussions. Many people described it as a wonderful landmark with “double parking spaces on the top floor”, and wondered “how did the car get up there?” Neighbors But I was surprised to see the tail of one of the cars stuck on the parapet wall. Worried regarding public security issues, the city government and the police were alerted to the site for investigation. The owner promised to find another place to store the two cars.

The Taichung City Urban Development Bureau stated that the Metropolitan Development Bureau, together with the police station, the North District Office, and the homeowner, conducted an on-site investigation on April 7 this year. Although the vehicle was placed on the top floor of a legal building, it was not illegal or immediately dangerous following investigation. Homeowners have been advised to remove as soon as possible to maintain public safety. The owner promised that he had found another place to prepare the land, and the two cars would be moved there.

The local mayor said that the owner of the house was a construction contractor. He used to put three old vans next to Tutianchuo as a small warehouse, and piled up construction equipment inside. They were reported because the vehicles blocked traffic and were sold. One, and invited a crane to hoist the remaining two cars to the top floor.

The head of the village explained that more than a year ago, residents in the neighborhood reported that the rear of the van was stuck on the parapet wall, and they were worried that the parapet wall would fall due to insufficient bearing capacity. The site will be surveyed, and the owner also promised to move the car to another place, but so far there has been no movement, and the two cars are still on the top floor.
