Two UAVs fell in the Kfar Blum area: “They tried to hit the soldiers”

At least two UAVs that infiltrated from Lebanon at noon today (Saturday) fell in the Kfar Blum area, no casualties were reported. A fire broke out on the spot, the kibbutz’s emergency squad extinguished the fire and is conducting scans. Earlier, alarms were also heard from Margaliot and Mishgav Am.

Shashi Angel, a resident of Kibbutz Kfar Blum, who was at the scene of the fall of the UAV along with the soldiers, told Maariv: “I returned to Kibbutz Kfar Blum from Kiryat Shmona and at the intersection I saw two soldiers standing next to the fragments of the first UAV that fell on the road. I stopped with the car near them – and they told me that a UFO fell near them. While we were looking at the debris, we heard a hum above us, we saw a UFO that started to dive towards us and luckily we acted and escaped quickly. The UAV crashed 20 meters from us – and shrapnel hit my car. Apparently the Hezbollah operatives tried to harm the soldiers on purpose because they knew they would come to the scene. Later, a fire also broke out on the spot – and the kibbutz’s emergency squad and fire department arrived.

It should be noted that no alarm was sounded before the UAV was launched – so we didn’t even have a chance to defend ourselves. The lack of warning is really problematic, and if Hezbollah allows itself to do such things – it seems that there is no deterrence either. There are serious threats to the residents here. The government decided not to evict us, and we hope that the decision makers will decide to make a change.’
