NEW JERSEY — Two teenagers, ages 15 and 16, were stabbed to death in Union City, New Jersey, and authorities are still on the trail of the suspects. Unfortunately the youngest victim passed away.
According to information from the Hudson County prosecutor, Esther Suárez, on Tuesday, at regarding 6:24 pm, the police were notified of a stabbing in the area of 40th Street y New York Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a 15-year-old, identified as Allen Flores, and an unidentified 16-year-old with stab wounds, the prosecutor said.
Flores was transported to the hospital Christ Hospital in Jersey City and was pronounced dead at regarding 7:08 p.m. The medical examiner will determine his cause of death.
Meanwhile, the other teen is hospitalized, the report added. His condition was not released, but he is expected to recover.
Both victims are students from Union City High School, which is near the scene.
Now the Homicide Unit of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and the Union City Police Department are investigating the facts and looking for the alleged perpetrators.
