Books – Muhammad Shaaban:

Two high-ranking security sources in the Giza Security Directorate revealed the circumstances of the accusation of a parliamentarian’s son, nephew and a third, of causing the death of a garbage collector in the Boulaq El Dakrour area.

The two sources said in statements to Masrawy that a verbal altercation took place between 3 people (a first party) and a garbage collector over his accusation of stealing a mobile phone, last Saturday.

The two sources – who declined to be named – added that investigations and the narration of eyewitnesses proved the involvement of the parliament’s nephew in his twenties in beating and injuring the worker at the time before he died in the hospital, at dawn on Monday.

The two sources explained that unloading the surveillance cameras will determine the extent of the parliament’s son, “Talib”, who is 14 years old, stressing that “there is no complete condemnation of the parliamentarian’s son so far, the cameras will clarify everything.”

The beginning of the incident is due to Major General Hesham Al-Tamawi, assistant to the Western Division, receiving a report from the Bulaq Al-Dakrour Police Department, attacking a garbage collector with beatings, and his death 3 days later from his injuries.

Quick directions from Major General Assem Abu al-Khair, Deputy Director of Giza Investigation, for a security force to move to the location of the communication to find out the full circumstances of the incident and apprehend the perpetrator.

Investigations by Lieutenant-Colonel Muhammad Tabliah, head of investigations in Bulaq al-Dakrour, showed that a relative of a member of the House of Representatives from the Bulaq al-Dakrur district assaulted and two others beat a garbage collector on the grounds that he was accused of stealing a mobile phone.

The search and investigation efforts conducted under the supervision of Major General Alaa Fathi, director of criminal investigations in Giza, concluded that they gave him a “hot lick” before letting him leave the scene without returning the phone.

The garbage worker was taken to the hospital after feeling sick, but he died today, Monday, accusing his family, who are accused of causing his death, of causing his death.

The necessary report was drawn up on the incident, and Major General Alaa Farouk, Director of Giza Security, referred it to the Public Prosecution to take over the investigations.
