Friday was a tragic day on French roads. A man in his forties died in Echenevex, in the Pays de Gex and two minors were evacuated in critical condition to Annecy.
French relief intervened twice on Friday for serious traffic accidents. In Echenevex, in the country of Gex, they were mobilized shortly following midnight for a road trip involving a vehicle in which two people were. A 30-year-old, seriously injured, was able to be evacuated. The second occupant, a 40-year-old trapped under the car, unfortunately might not be rescued and died on the spot, reports “Progress».
Earlier in the day, in Haute-Savoie, a frontal collision between two motorists took place on departmental road 16, in Annecy-le-Vieux. The violent collision occurred in the pouring rain during the followingnoon. The accident injured five people, two of them seriously. According to “Dauphiné liberated“, the two seriously affected victims would be minors, aged 12 and 17. One was taken to Annecy hospital, the other was hospitalized at the Geneva cantonal hospital.
