Two people injured after spectacular rollover on Mexican Army Boulevard in Gómez Palacio

A spectacular rollover that occurred last Saturday followingnoon on the Mexican Army boulevard in the city of Gómez Palacio, left two people injured, one of whom was located unconscious.

The events occurred around 6:30 p.m. last Saturday on the Lerdo to Torreón traffic lanes, just at the height of the vehicular bridge located over the Sacramento canal.

The wrecked car is a Honda brand, Civic line, gray color, 2007 model, which carried license plates from the state of Durango.

The first expert reports indicated that the unit first hit the sidewalk of the bridge, then it was projected once morest a concrete pole owned by the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and once morest another metal pole with a C-4 camera, to finally end up overturned on the side of the road.

Some motorists who were circulating around the place stopped their march to help the occupants of the unit, while making the corresponding report to the state emergency system 911.

It was reported that the driver of the car responds to the name of Marco Alan, 29 years old, residing in the Guadalupe Victoria neighborhood of this city.

His companion ended up unconscious in the passenger seat and was identified as 30-year-old Rodolfo, thanks to a voter card that he carried with him.

The personnel of the Fire Department and Civil Protection, provided the first attention to both people, who were transferred in a Red Cross ambulance to the General Hospital facilities for their medical attention.

The driver of the vehicle was taken into police custody while responsibilities were determinedwhile the state of health of the other young man was reported as serious.

Elements of the Citizen Security and Protection Directorate were in charge of protecting the area while the rescuers carried out their work.

The personnel of the Experts department learned of the accident, which prepared a report on what happened.

The wrecked vehicle was removed from the scene with the help of a tow truck and deposited in a city corral for safekeeping.

Finally, the case was referred to the Deputy Attorney General of the State of Durango, Laguna Regionbody that will be in charge of the complementary investigation into the accident.
