Two other cases of measles have been recorded in Quebec: the report now shows 12 infections in the province.

According to the most recent data obtained by TVANouvelles, nine cases have been recorded in Montreal.
The other reports are located in Laval (two) and Mauricie/Centre-du-Québec (one).
“The circulation of measles is increasing globally,” we can read on the Montreal public health website. In recent days, several cases have been reported in the Montreal region.”
On Monday, Dr. Luc Boileau, director of public health, described Quebec as the “epicenter of Canada.” Public health is concerned regarding low vaccination rates in the province’s two largest cities.
An exhaustive list of places of exposure to the virus was compiled on the public health website on Thursday.
Three hospital emergency rooms, the Montreal airport and two metro lines are included there, in particular (consult the list here).
In the other regions under scrutiny, grocery stores and restaurants are among the places where citizens might have been contaminated.
