Two new cases of dengue fever confirmed by the ARS in Saint-Jeannet, seven in total

The number of people affected by dengue continues to climb in Saint-Jeannet.

Thursday, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) reported five cases in the town.

On Monday, two additional cases were confirmed, bringing the current total to seven.

The City specifies the sector on which the attention of the ARS and its service provider EID Méditerranée is focused: chemins de Saint-Eloi, des Sausses and Château-Bresson. “There is no intervention scheduled for Tuesday yet”continues the municipality on its website.

And to advise “the population to dress in light, long and loose clothing to reduce the risk of bites.”

As a reminder, mosquito control operations have already taken place in Saint-Jeannet. The children of the Prés school were not allowed to go out in the playground on Monday until 1 p.m. The time to rinse all previously treated objects.
