Two more Britons charged after being held in Ukraine

Russia’s TASS news agency reported on Friday that investigators in eastern Ukraine have charged two other Britons with “mercenary activities” in the region.
The agency quoted a source in the separatist “Donetsk Republic” as saying that two criminal cases were filed and that charges were brought once morest Dylan Healy and Andrew Hill under Article 430 of the Penal Code.
She added that both men refuse to cooperate with the investigation authorities.
Last month, a court sentenced two Britons and a Moroccan to death for “mercenary activities” following they were caught fighting for the Ukrainian army.
Today, Friday, TASS news agency reported that lawyers for Moroccan Ibrahim Saadoun and Britain’s Sean Benner have filed an appeal once morest their death sentences.
The agency reported, quoting another Briton’s lawyer, Aidan Aslin, as saying that his client had not yet lodged an appeal.
