Little by little, city after city, Apple is adding 3D maps and (very) detailed maps to its flagship software, Apple Maps. After Paris in June — which also won local guides and bike routes — it’s time for Dallas and Houston to receive detailed 3D buildings.
For Dallas, the Dallas Morning News shows some very visible changes, which speak for themselves.
Ditto for Houston, seen by the Houston Chronicle : the maps are much more detailed.

As noted 9to5Mac, the list of cities that offer detailed buildings is still quite short: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver and Washington in North America. In Europe, we find Berlin, Hamburg, London, Munich and Paris. Finally, Australia completes the list with Melbourne and Sydney.
