A little more than 20 days before the lists and the launch of the campaign for the municipal elections in Córdoba capital are made official, the candidates for mayor of the main political forces have already outlined the first strategies for the elections on July 23, and they are in court.
With the formulas in some cases incomplete and without the latest definitions regarding who will be the candidates for councilors and tribunes of accounts, and Daniel Passerini, from Hacemos Unidos por Córdoba; and Rodrigo de Loredo, from Juntos por el Cambio, outperformed the rest of the applicants with more paraphernalia displayed, especially on social networks. Although each one has its strategy and coup de effect.
How will the assembly of Passerini be?
This last week, the PJ Capital ended with the opening ceremonies and presentation of the campaign commands that Vice Mayor Passerini will have in the 14 sectionals into which the city of Córdoba is divided.
They will work with their neighborhood referents as if they were the traditional basic units of justicialismo, although at the same time they will articulate with other forces that the ruling party will add, such as sectors of socialism and the PRO.
The fishing for leaders from other spaces, started with Javier Pretto (PRO), as Passerini’s running mate, is still latent. Therefore, while the chiefs of the PJ of the Capital prop up the commandos, on the other hand, this strategy is given. This weekend they added Rosendo Ventura Moreno, Roberto Giacossa and Juan Martín Gabutti, three members of the PRO authorities.
For this start, a small table was designed in which a job was agreed with a team of no more than 10 PJ leaders, among whom the campaign manager will also emerge.

The first of these meetings was already held last week and among those signed up to participate are Marcelo Rodio, head of municipal transport; Leonardo Limia and Diego Hak, both provincial legislators from Hacemos por Córdoba; and Miguel Siciliano, Secretary of Government and General Management, among others.
“Today we are very good with several points ahead of the opposition and that is how we are going to work: Martín (Llaryora) and Daniel accompanying each other. And once the provincial elections have elapsed, on June 25, Martín will be available to be with Daniel in a campaign in which we will see management and continuity,” said one of the leaders who will be in the final assembly of the campaign.
“Martín will go on leave in a few days (from May 25) and from that moment it will be Daniel who will show the management works in the Municipality, so these days one inauguration is coming following another”, they trusted from the environment of the vice mayor
In fact, Passerini’s agenda already comes from several days with presentations and inaugurations by Llaryora. Last Thursday, they presented the changes in the new remodeled promenade of the former Córdoba Brewery, and on Friday he participated in paving the streets in the Los Robles and La Floresta neighborhoods; in addition to the habilitation of a sports playground in Ciudad de Mi Esperanza.
“We are going to be inaugurating works in the neighborhoods, in the squares. Everything that has to do with management, while the campaign commandos will make their contribution because they are the backbone of the basic units,” said another PJ Capital leader.
“We are working on a campaign with Daniel’s imprint: as a doctor and militant, always that vision of diagnosing and providing solutions and committing. This is Passerini, commitment”, summed up a councilor from Hacemos por Córdoba who also participates in the armed forces.
How is the De Loredo campaign
The campaign of the radical De Loredo also put first from the moment he announced days ago on his social networks that he will bet on a new candidacy for the mayor of Córdoba. Although he moves together with Luis Juez, as if it were a single formula and they accompany each other in many of the activities, De Loredo has already marked his style: a lot of presence on social networks with different moments in which he toured and tours the city .
From their environment they confirmed that this weekend, De Loredo finished a first list of candidates for councilors and that there are still no definitions as to who will be his running mate or partner. “The list of councilors would say that it was closed, what was the closure of the list of legislators will not happen. And regarding his vice, there will be the decision between Laura Rodríguez Machado and Soher El Sukaria”, confided a deloredista.
“I have a plan for the city and I have been studying it for a long time, I have the strength to say and know how Córdoba can be better and this will be the central axis of my campaign”, this was De Loredo’s summary in a radio interview he gave last week. That was followed and accompanied by what will be his workhorse: the slogan “Córdoba number 1 ″.
For this, he asserted the support of the leaders of Together for Change. Mauricio Macri, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, Patricia Bullrich, Gerardo Morales, Eugenia Vidal, Martín Lousteau, Alfredo Cornejo and Gustavo Valdés were the protagonists of a video posted by De Loredo and which showed their support for his candidacy in the capital.

That is where his campaign will pass: support from national leaders of Together for Change and a lot of reference to his knowledge of the city. So last Friday, he shared a talk with neighbors along with Rodríguez Larreta.
Another issue that began to stand out was his criticism of the provincial government for insecurity and the high rates of services.
“The city is the city of chaos, of lack of control… we have to go back to the entities that regulate services because today nobody controls them, nobody controls transportation or waste,” he assured in an interview with a national media outlet.
From De Loredo’s small table they manage with secrecy, faithful to the style of the deputy, although some radical leaders who accompany him already share the first traces of the campaign: showing the work of years in the city, the unanimous support of the national leaders and talk as many times as necessary regarding insecurity. A practice that the deputy has been doing for a long time in meetings with neighbors in the squares of Córdoba.
