Two helicopters of a Russian oligarch immobilized on the Côte d’Azur

After his yacht the Dilbarconsidered the largest in the world and a regular at the billionaires’ wharf in Antibesasked to stay in the port of Hamburg by the German authorities on March 2, it is the turn of his helicopters.

The machines of the Russian oligarch Alisher Ousmanov, whose fortune is estimated at 14 billion dollars, have just been immobilized on the French Riviera according to information from Nice morning.

In the Var and in Monaco

The first helicopter was frozen at Le Castellet aerodrome, in the Var, on March 22. Three days later, the second machine had the same fate with the Monegasque and French authorities in Monaco, the Ministry of Economy and Finance told the regional daily, without however confirming the identity of their owner.

These seizures are a direct result of European Union sanctions following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Indeed, this businessman of Uzbek origin is one of the billionaires considered close to the Kremlin. Just like Alexei Kouzmitchev, including two yachts, estimated at 4 and 1.2 million euros, were frozen in Antibes and Cannes last week.
