To start its 2024-2025 season brilliantly, the Pleins-Jeux association is receiving two guitar stars, this Sunday, October 6, at 5 p.m.

These are two virtuosos who will be the guests of Pleins-Jeux this Sunday. Dagoberto Linhares arrived in Switzerland at the age of 18. He was quickly appointed professor at the Friborg Conservatory and perfected his art with the greatest Masters. He has been rewarded with numerous prizes, in Sao Paulo, Barcelona, ​​Geneva… After his debut in London, he played in New York, at the Salle Gaveau in Paris, as well as in many festivals, such as those in Salzburg. , Venice or Radio France in Montpellier.

His commitments have taken him throughout Europe, to the United States, but also to Australia, Korea, Latin America, the former USSR and even the Far East. Having a particular affinity for Portugal, he regularly gives Master Classes there. He is also responsible for the guitar and chamber music classes at the HEMU in Lausanne.

Johan Smith, for his part, is acclaimed by international audiences for his virtuoso and original interpretations. This Swiss musician enjoys a reputation that makes him one of the most sought-after guitarists of his generation. He is also the winner of numerous awards, including the very prestigious Guitar Foundation of America. He has just completed a fifty concert tour in Canada and the United States. He is invited to perform in China, Japan and throughout Europe. His third album has just been released by Naxos.

The complicity will be obvious between the two artists, since the second was the student of the first… And it is in a sunny program with Iberian and Brazilian colors (Nazareth, Villa Lobos, Gismondi, Albeniz, De Falla…) that these two exceptional artists will attract Yvonand’s audience.
