The products are not yet on sale as some features will not be available when released.
Apple launched new products yesterday during its “Far out” Keynote. Among the announcements, the Cupertino company presented its new connected headphonesthe AirPods Pro 2. But the Cupertino company has just announced bad news regarding these new headphones. In effect, the main novelties will not be available on September 23, the official release date of the new AirPods Pro 2.
Two late novelties
From a hardware point of view everything seems to be under control, which is unfortunately not the case on the software side. One of the missing novelties will be the location of the AirPods case. Thanks to this feature, you can find your AirPods Pro 2 case anywhere in the world thanks to the “Locate” network.
The other delayed new feature will be custom spatial audio. Indeed, Apple has implemented in its new headphones the possibility of personalizing its listening. This makes it possible to offer tailor-made listening to each user.
It will probably be necessary to wait for the version of iOS 16.1 (probably in October) before seeing these new software releases on the new headphones from the apple brand. Hard blow therefore for this new product which is still sold at the price of 299 euros.
