Two families are missing in Táchira and the mystery increases

Apparently they went to a “spiritual retreat” but have not returned and their cell phones are turned off.

“Hello friends. They are relatives who are missing. They are from Venezuela, Táchira state, La Grita». The message, shared in a video with photos of a family, began to spread in areas around the region until it became a discussion on social networks. Was it a kidnapping?

The audiovisual showed three women, a man, a girl and a baby a few days old. However, hours later it was learned that at least eight people had attended an alleged spiritual retreat in the mountains of the Jáuregui municipality, whose main city is La Grita, located an hour and a half from the capital of the state of Tachira.

The names of the people wanted are: Roselis Viviana Luna Roa (28 years old), Dorimar Roxely Prato Luna (8 years old), Valery Sofía Prato Luna, who was eight days old when she left.

Also José Manuel Mora (35 years old), Roxana Briggitt Luna Roa (32 years old), Manuel José Mora Luna (10 years old), José Alejandro Mora Luna (6 years old), Dickson Alberto Luna Gutierrez (14 years old) and Brígida del Socorro Roa ( 56 years). All residents of the community of Santa Ana del Valle de la Grita.

The El Estímulo portal spoke with Lisbeth Parra, a relative of Wuilfrido Serrano Pabón, a member of another disappeared family, to find out what was behind such a strange event, which over the days has generated many questions.

Who are the disappeared?

In the case of Lisbeth Parra, her direct relative is Wuilfrido Serrano, who is her cousin. The young man is 32 years old and lives in La Grita.

Parra says: “He left with his wife, with the child, who is one year old, the father-in-law, the mother-in-law, the brother-in-law and supposedly they were going to a spiritual retreat, but to date absolutely nothing is known.”

The names of those who accompanied Serrano are: Francy Peña (27 years old), Adolfo Peña (59 years old), Teresa García (53 years old), Carlos Peña (30 years old) and Joaquín Serrano (1 year old).

Lisbeth learned of his disappearance five days ago, on Wednesday, August 31, and confirmed that Serrano’s immediate family, specifically his brother, have searched for him in various villages and mountains, but have not seen or obtained information about them.

What is known about the retreat?

The supposed spiritual retreat would take place on a mountain. The families left La Grita around August 22.

Lisbeth Parra explained that Serrano’s brother-in-law, Carlos Peña, resigned from the company where he works because there would indeed be a spiritual encounter: “They went for four days motivated because difficult times were coming for humanity.”

Members of the two missing families have said that the idea of ​​attending the retreat was introduced by a woman. They have tried to communicate by phone, but the cell phones of the people are turned off.

A woman named Sol Mayra Luna, who identified herself as a relative of the first family reported missing, indicated the following on social networks: “They are not in any ritual, they are deceived and manipulated by a lady who poses as a supposed leader and her name is Rosa García».

He continues: «They have been deceived that the world is going to end and that is why they decided to go find a refuge. The lady is the one who manipulates them, they are victims of deception.

So far, about 14 missing people are counted. However, the local media La Nación indicates that there may be more because there are other reports.

Lisbeth Parra has information that in La Grita the Cicpc, Civil Protection and the police have been looking for the disappeared. However, there is still no trace of his whereabouts.
