Two exceptional evenings at Florida this weekend

This weekend, two concerts in a row await you at the Florida: Arnaud Rebotini with contemporary Cabaret this Friday evening, and the Arka’n Asrafokor ensemble, for two diametrically opposed styles…

Arnaud Rebotini is considered a pillar of the French electro scene. We owe him the soundtrack of the film “120 beats per minute” in 2017 (a César and the Lumières prize in 2018). Coming from the electro movement, he nevertheless works without any computer: around him, synths, nothing but synths. Preferably vintage. Rocked on disco and funk rhythms, it is nevertheless a death metal group that he set up, before branching off into more electronic sounds. He is now a well-established name on the French scene. Not only endowed with an overflowing mustache, but also with a confusing creativity, he will present his association with the Cabaret contemporain formation, five experienced musicians for whom this is the third evening in Agen. In 2015, their first visit, memorable, happened at Aquasud, with sounds broadcast on and under water. In 2017, they landed on the roof of the market-parking lot during the Les Instants perchés festival. This time, the show will take place in the Florida hall, starting at 8:30 p.m.!

Saturday evening, it will be the turn of the Arka’n Asrafokor collective to set the fire. A collective with a rather rare style: African metal! Originally from Togo, they are unique there because they create and perform their own compositions in the metal genre. Strongly influenced by traditional African sounds, they seek to disseminate values of wisdom and pride, to better denounce and combat social problems. They will be preceded by the alternative rock group Imparfait, who have traveled the roads of the country playing the first parts of specialists in the genre such as Pogo Car Crash Control or Ultra Vomit. An explosive cocktail, to be enjoyed from 8:30 p.m.
