An accident of a small plane in a wooded area of Marion County, in central Florida (United States), left two dead. This according to what the authorities reported this Sunday.
The Marion Sheriff’s Office reported the accident on Sunday and specified that the victims were the two occupants of the aircraft. However, they did not offer the identities of the fatal victims.
He stressed that his officers and rescue personnel from the Marion County Fire Department traveled to the scene of the accident. Which occurred between the towns of Citra and Orange Springs on Saturday night.
According to the police office it was a small private plane.
He explained that due to the remote location of the plane crash site in Florida, a special county office responded to help investigators gain access to the site.
According to the sheriff’s office, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA, in English) was notified regarding the fact and is expected to respond to investigate the accident as well.
