Two dead and 18 injured in the patron saint festivities of Santa Teresa

Two dead and a total of 18 injured was the balance left by the first day of the patron saint festivities in Saint Teresa of TuyMiranda State.

This is the figure that informs the preliminary balance of the authorities. They also explain that this is the result of an irregular situation that occurred in the sleeve of Coleo Ángelo Hernández of that entity.

According to police information, the event occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. this Friday, following the presentation of the vallenato singer Nelson Velázquez. Once the show was over, the concertgoers tried to leave the venue, but generated a stampede in which two people died of suffocation and others were injured.

The deceased were identified as Roa Araque Leidy Maoly, 35 years old, and Karina Castillo, 35 years old.

The injured were identified as:

1. Desiret González, 19 years old.

2. Gleidi pallare, 30 years old.

3. Michel Montilla, 20 years old.

4. Guendeli Ruiz, 15 years old.

5. Sincere Onesdi, 25 years old.

6. Danelvis Diaz, 24 years old.

7. Alexander Alvarado, 22 years old.

8. Terán Silva, 39 years old.

9. Deyoreli Garcia, 18 years old.

10. Maria was 19 years old.

11. Esmeralda Ramirez, 50 years old.

12. Aliz Carpio (22).

13. Carmen Gutierrez, of (43).

The authorities transferred the 18 wounded to the Santa Teresita de Jesús hospital, located in the central town of Santa Teresa. However, two of them were not identified, since they might not receive medical attention due to the collapse of the health center.
