Two Cicpc officials are captured for vehicle theft

Those captured subdued the residents of the Nueva Casarapa Entrance, Miranda state, so that they later fled once the crime was committed.

Two detectives belonging to the Criminal, Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) were apprehended along with a civilian, following verifying that the trio was engaged in vehicle theft in Guarenas.

One of the officials had been an attached detective for five years, while the other had been in the police force for nine months.

Both went to the entrance of Nueva Casarapa, Miranda state, where, using a firearm, they subjected the residents, who were stripped of their belongings and a Ford Fiesta.

The criminal act included the participation of a fourth member, driver of a Toyota brand vehicle, Corolla model in which they were traveling at the time of committing the crime. The driver is still on the run.

Security organizations carried out a series of investigations in Guarenas, so they located the stolen vehicles.

A police commission reported the discovery of a Chevrolet, Malibu, and the transport that was used during the robbery.

A firearm was also seized during the procedure.

Douglas Rico, director of the Cicpc, indicated that “we will not accept conduct outside the framework of the law, carried out by our officials.”
