Six-year-old among injured
Two boys aged eight and ten died at the scene of the accident near Waldbronn. Ambulances took the seriously injured 43-year-old and two slightly injured people, a six-year-old and the 54-year-old, to hospitals. The police originally spoke of three seriously injured people. It was initially unclear whether the 43-year-old was the father of the three boys.
The police and fire brigade secured the scene of the accident with a large contingent on site. The damaged cars were towed away. According to the spokeswoman, Herrenalber Strasse remained completely closed for around five and a half hours.
