Verbal and physical altercation

The facts took place on the night of Sunday to Monday August 15, shortly after midnight. A mother accompanied her 17-year-old daughter to the hospital emergency room with her 23-year-old nephew for an allergic reaction.

Unhappy with the waiting time, the mother and nephew would have verbally attacked the two members of the nursing staff, before coming to blows, hitting a nurse and pushing a caregiver to the ground, said the prosecution of Montpellier with the Figaro.

Immediate appearance scheduled for Wednesday

The two victims had six days of temporary incapacity for work (ITT), reports Free lunch specifying that one of them had a whiplash and sternal pain and the other, a sprained ankle.

The two alleged perpetrators were arrested and taken into custody. They must be judged in immediate appearance for “willful violence in a meeting on medical personnel” this Wednesday, August 17.
