Two Carabobo Police officers injured after collision in La Trigaleña

At noon this Friday, two Carabobo Police officials were injured following a collision in La Trigaleña, north of Valencia. They were treated by Civil Protection.

The incident occurred when the uniformed men were traveling along 103rd Avenue with Michelena aboard a motorcycle when the driver of a gray Spark hit them.

Sources linked to the case identified the injured as commissioner Jaime Torrealba and officer Alvaro Pernalette, who were taken to the emergency room of the Ciudad Hospitalaria Dr. Enrique Tejera (Chet). Apparently, the state of health of both is stable.

Other officials from the Carabobo Police arrived at the scene to provide support, as well as the Valencia Police and the Bolivarian National Police, the body that was in charge of lifting the incident.
